My family and I celebrated the 4^th of July and America’s 250^th birthday on South Padre Island in Texas this year. As we crossed the bridge in this coastal area of the Gulf of America, we could see Elon Musk’s SpaceX facilities in the distance. Intrigued, we drove about 30 miles to view its structures. I must say, the site was far more impressive than we imagined; its scope and size were breathtaking. Yet, as I pondered the technological advances of SpaceX and other tech companies, I came to understand clearly that my biblical worldview conflicts with a world that is rebelling more against Yahweh with each passing day. The tech lords of our time envision a reality devoid of God, and they see themselves and their technology as saviors.

Like many Christians, I think about the consequences of artificial intelligence, and from a blogging perspective, it is one of the subjects I return to regularly. The touted future in which the mindset and hearts of men are heading is opposed to biblical teaching. And make no mistake, the A.I. revolution is quite different than the industrial revolution and prior paradigm shifts in technology. Many of the A.I.'s architects are directly challenging God through thought and speech. The quotes listed at the beginning of this blog are a small sample of tech leaders’ belief systems.

The Permeating Antichrist Disposition of AI’s Architects

Perhaps one of the most prominent promises of A.I. is a future in which man no longer has to labor. As many of today’s tech CEOs have stated, work will become optional and universal income will become probable. If you think these proclamations of the future sound like some sort of promised utopia, you would not be mistaken. However, at a foundational level, a world facilitated by A.I. and one or several tech leaders where all men can have what they desire regardless of status or rank describes a Marxist dystopian state.

Beyond Earth, A.I. proponents see space as the next step in human evolution. You see, A.I., according to them, will help us progress “human consciousness to the stars.” Consequently, at the foundation of the A.I. religion is a familiar lie—evolution. Evolution of millions of years is baked into the calculus of our would-be saviors. In addition to economic bliss and the evolution of our “species,” some tech moguls are promising extended life and even eventual immortality.

Unmistakenly, this is what many are selling in plain sight. So, a question is warranted here. If some people choose not to participate to remain loyal to God, what happens? This is not a radical question because all the implications lead to one reality — a world that requires interaction with and allegiance to the A.I. infrastructure and processes. Existence (food, housing, income, etc) will rely on it.

As such, high-profile tech leaders are establishing themselves as false prophets for the age of A.I. and perceived limitless power. They need prayer because they live in spiritual blindness, as their endeavor is to reject and/or unseat Yahweh. The spirit dwelling within the A.I. apparatus is antichrist.

The Religion of AI Opposes Sin's Curse and the Biblical Worldview

Of course, the religion of A.I. is opposed to sovereign God and the reality of sin. Yahweh Himself imposed toil and death on man as a result of Adam’s sin. Genesis 3:19 states,

“By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

I am also reminded of the Book of Isaiah, which states that God Himself will lengthen the life of man during Christ’s millennial reign (Isaiah 65:20). Of course, the words of Jesus, the apostles, and the prophets convey that God's plan for His creation and His fallen creatures are diametrically opposed to contemporary dreams. There are no saviors of men in A.I. leadership or A.I. technology, only death for those who do not know Jesus Christ.

Salvation is through Jesus Christ Only

Ultimately, in a world bent on constructing alternative gods and “super knowledge,” let us reject the notions of technology or men as saviors of mankind. Only Christ can save us from our sins. God desires that all men be saved; He has given us His truth in Scripture. Those who place their faith in Christ will have eternal life.

John:3-16--“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

2 Corinthians 4:3-6

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Ephesians 2:1-2

And you were a dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.
